Community Invited to Watch Arrival and Greet President Biden
Brownsville, Texas - President Biden is scheduled to visit Brownsville, Texas on February 29, 2024. Air Force One is expected to land at Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) at around 12:45 PM CST.
The public is invited to watch the President's arrival and greet him as he disembarks from Air Force One. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early as parking and security screening lines may be long.
President Biden's visit to Brownsville is part of a two-day trip to Texas. He is scheduled to deliver a speech on the importance of education and economic development in Brownsville. The President is also expected to meet with local leaders and visit with students at a local school.
Brownsville Mayor Trey Mendez said he is honored that President Biden has chosen to visit Brownsville. "This is a historic day for our city, and we are excited to welcome the President to our community," said Mayor Mendez.
